From 2013-2015 I was the director of the Kidznotes violin program in Raleigh. Kidznotes is an after school program modeled after El Sistema in Venezuela. The program is designed to help fight poverty and encourage positive decision making while teaching classical music to those who would normally not have the chance to do so.
The Duke University String School and Kidznotes are now partners in providing excellent music education to students from all backgrounds in Durham, North Carolina.
